10 Kinds Of Fruits Lowering Cholesterol

   Efforts in lowering cholesterol is not only to pay attention to food intake and avoid foods that contain lots of saturated fat that just cause higher cholesterol. Much can be done to keep cholesterol in order to remain stable.

    Here are some types of fruits that can be used as a fruit in lowering cholesterol. Broadly some foods and fruits may reduce levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and otherwise increase the good cholesterol in the body so that the levels remained normal cholesterol (HDL).





1. Lime 


Among the variety of orange, lemon or lime juice is the most widely-containing flavonoids. This compound is able to inhibit the production of LDL, thereby reducing the risk of heart attack. Flavonoids can also be obtained in tea, broccoli, tomatoes, soybeans, onions layered like an onion, red onion, and pomegranates.

2. Apples 


Plenty of soluble fiber found in apples is a source of beta-glucan. In the body, beta glucan contributes to control cholesterol absorption and production. Another source papaya, fruits are eaten with the skin (apples and pears), carrots, peas, and other vegetables, legumes (beans, cowpeas and beans) dried legumes (pea green, red kacnag, and beans tolo) , and brown rice.

3. Guava


 Just like watermelon red and red tomatoes, red guava is rich in lycopene which had a role in controlling the production of cholesterol.

4. Avocado 


Pantothenic acid is the most prominent compounds in avocados which acts dampen blood cholesterol. 

5. Mango

Vitamin C is widely available in mango fruit. Vitamin C prevents oxidation of bad cholesterol so that prevent the formation of plaque in the walls of blood vessels.

6. Blueberry


Health experts in America, blueberries can also be used as one of the fruits that are widely used in American health experts in helping patients who suffer from high cholesterol. Blueberries are also believed to reduce levels of excess cholesterol from the body. This is proven because of the content of natural compounds contained in blueberries that pterostilbene which has a function as an antioxidant in the body.

7. Wine 


The grapes besides containing fibers very good for the body, it also contains catechins that can lower cholesterol.

8. Plum

Such as blueberries, plums have a large amount of material that lowers cholesterol.

9. Pomegranate

 A study by the National Academy of Sciences (USA) showed that pomegranate juice reduces cholesterol plaque buildup and increase the production of nitric oxide which helps reduce arterial plaque. 

10. Tomato

  Although classified into fruits, consuming tomatoes may help reduce levels of bad cholesterol in the body. You can make a delicious tomato juice and drink two glasses of tomato juice every day.
